Tag Heuer Carrera WatchesTag Heuer Carrera watches are very well known for its self-winding mechanical movement. The Carrera model was designed by Jack Heuer in 1964 – over forty years ago - and is revered for its well thought out design and aesthetic qualities. Tag decided to pay tribute recently to the Carrera by releasing a new edition of this legendary chronograph for its fortieth anniversary. The new edition is limited to 1964 watches, and follows the same design style as the original. These limited edition watches are characterized by a tachometer at the 3 o'clock position, a face with two anthracite sub dials, and a red second-hand, as well as a date register at the 6 o'clock position. In addition to this, the case of each watch is engraved with its initial production date and its anniversary date. Not only that, but the engraving actually includes the signature of its creator, Jack Heuer, as well as its individual production number together with the words: "40 years of Legend".
